We are getting new shingles on our roof today! The work crew showed up early, before 7 a.m. We knew we were on the schedule for today, but we didn’t have any idea how early on the schedule. They are making great progress, though, so all is good. Our pool cover is getting a work-out, as you can see in the picture. I doubt we’ll be swimming tonight.
Right or wrong, I’d be cursing up a storm.
We were up, just hadn’t made it downstairs yet. And with the heat and heat indexes this past week, we were worried that it would just be too hot. The contractor told us that they quit doing roofs around late July and don’t start back up until end of September due to the heat, so just glad that we were able to get on the schedule when we did.
