Miss Wiggles announced last September that her poncho was too small and it was going to be cold soon! I made that poncho* for her last November (2015) and it was only just big enough for her to put over her head, so I wasn’t surprised that she outgrew it quickly.
Last winter I made a different poncho for Fiona.
This pattern** was so easy to make and the nicest thing is, I can easily add more rows to it as Fiona grows taller (as long as I hang on to the leftover yarn!).
Using this same pattern, I whipped up a poncho for Liana in about a week.
Her mommy sent me a picture of Liana wearing one of the hats I crocheted for Liana last year.
I can see that I am going to have to crochet a matching hat or two for this year’s poncho!
Ponchos are fun to make. Do you have something that you enjoy making over and over again?
