Weekly Overview June 1 2016

plumbago bush
My plumbago is happy in it’s container. Such pretty blue blossoms.

Outside My Window…darkening skies and the green of spreading ornamental sweet potato vines.

 I am thinking…that a nap sound nice.

I am thankful for…mocha.

From the kitchen…mocha.

I am wearing…sandals, stretchy pants, t-shirt.

I am hoping…Kat & family arrive safely this evening.

I am readingThe King’s Curse (Cousins War Series #6), by Philippa Gregory.

I am busy creating…still working on my seashore afghan.

I am hearingI’m Gonna Hire a Wino, by David Frizzell on Spotify.

Around the house & garden…the house is as clean as it ever gets, ready for guests.  Ditto with the outdoors, lawns mowed, gardens weeded, pool cleaned.

In other news…Bill is going to have to travel to New Orleans for a week in June.  The timing sucks.  Kat & Fiona will be here for the month, so he doesn’t want to go.  And at any other time, I’d go along with him.  I’ve never been to New Orleans!

One of my favorite things…mocha.

Our Weekly Overview…

Monday: It was Memorial Day.  David worked, Bill had it off.  We made a trip to Lowe’s for lumber to shore up the raised bed.  And we just lazed around the rest of the day.

Tuesday: David worked, Bill worked from home, I wore myself out in the morning getting the outside in tip top shape.  Afternoon was spent getting groceries.

Wednesday: David is off, Bill is working from home, I spent time this morning with paperwork and paying work and then the final bit of housecleaning in the afternoon.  Oh, and laundry is done.

Thursday: David is off, Bill will be working from home, and I’ll be enjoying family visiting.

Friday: David works, Bill will work from home, and I’ll be enjoying family visiting.

Saturday: & Sunday:  David works.  The weather is supposed to be nice.  Not sure what we will do, other than clean the pool.  So far it is not quite warm enough for swimming, especially if we have more rain this week.
