For the past two years I have chosen one word to focus on for the ensuing year.
As the author of the “One Little Word” blog posts explains:
And what do you do with this one little word?
You live with it. You invite it into your life. You let it speak to you. You might even follow where it leads. There are so many possibilities.
In 2011 my word was clarity. Last year, 2012, I chose contentment.
This year I had a more difficult time finding the right word. I considered several, but none seemed to “speak” to me, none, that it, until I thought of the word sing.
Sing was perfect.
I need more singing in my life.
I need to sing in my life.
My life needs to sing.
It works all the way around.
I hope by this time next year your life will indeed sing.
Hmm – you can add that to your walks too… ignore any strange looks 😉
Mine just sort of popped out as, Just Freaking Do It. I think Sing is beautiful!
And I love “Just Freaking Do It.” Which should have an exclamation point at the end. Maybe that will be mine next year!
