My trek to the Farmer’s Market yesterday yielded the ingredients for chili sauce along with four squash, two of which have already been consumed!

Some of the flowers I bought were “manager’s special” – 18 roses for $1.00. Can you believe it? I thought they would be really dried out when I unwrapped them, but I was pleasantly surprised, and still am! I bought them on Thursday and here it is the next Tuesday and they still look fairly nice.
