Back in January I posted on here about a Pay It Forward 2011 Meme. The idea was to send a handmade item to the first three people that commented, and those people were to post on their blog and send to the first three that commented there. I am happy to report that I completed all my gifts and even got them shipped! Missus Wookie’s was the last to be received and she very nicely posted a picture of her scarf at Missus Wookie’s Wanderings.
I made several of those scarves and still have a few in reserve, waiting to be gifted.
My nephew’s graduation afghan is coming along beautifully, don’t you think?
I have four more squares to join on and then I can begin the border. I really do like this Blended Granny Lapghan pattern, both how it looks and how quickly it works up. In fact, I’m seriously considering making one for myself, which means I will have to go through the painful “pick a color scheme” process all over again!
Picking colours hmmm – green, terracotta, browns with maybe splashes of turquoise. There you go!
Thanks again for my scarf 🙂
Where can I find the pattern for these scarfs? I’ve been looking for something like this since last Christmas.
Sheri, I just added a link to the blog post for the book that has the scarf pattern.
