My cousin Roberta, author of the Children’s Books blog Wrapped In Foil (and several other wonderful blogs about science and ants), gave me this lovely Gerbera Daisy for my birthday last month. I’ve kept it on my dining room table, replacing my usual bouquets of fresh-cut flowers.
Isn’t it cool how the new blossom is playing peek-a-book through the foliage as it works it way up towards the light?
