Verde Canyon Railroad Excursion Part Three
For those of you who like train pictures, this post is exclusively for you!
Our first class coach car, the Yuma, with its observation car behind it. Each covered car had a dedicated observation car for its occupants. You could come and go between the two cars for the whole train ride. Inside the coach was warm, but outside in the observation car you had a much better view.

Heading out!
It was so cold, that after about ten minutes of riding in the observation cars, you had to go back into the coach cars to warm up. We were glad we had paid for the first class ride, as you could order drinks. The hot chocolate was very popular!
At Perkinsville, the train parked for fifteen minutes while the engine decoupled and went to the other end of the train so we could go back to Clarkdale!
Heading back! It got colder and began to rain again as we headed back.
Almost home!
Wow, looks like a great trip!
So cool!
