The yarn for my next crochet project came yesterday. Isn’t it colorful? It only took me two months to settle on the color combination! This will be an afghan for my nephew that is graduating from high school this May. I am using this Blended Granny Lapghan pattern, but planning on making it bigger (I ordered twice the amount of yarn that the pattern required).
I asked my nephew’s sister about colors and she suggested reds and grays and said that he likes primary colors, so if he doesn’t like the color combination, I can blame it on his sister! I chose Caron’s Simply Soft color Autumn Red, Strawberry, and Grey Heather. Hopefully this weekend I will finish the scarf I am working on and be able to begin this afghan project.
Pretty colors! I’d like a blanket, please! 😉
