New Year’s Day 2011 – 365-001

I thought I’d start this year out with the view through the mimosa tree out one of the arched windows in our dining room.

It’s a lovely day, with a clear blue sky and a few wispy white clouds.  Lovely until you step outside and realize that the temperature is hovering around freezing and the west wind is blowing.  A good day to stay inside and take care of some New Year’s chores, like watching football, munching on cheese and crackers and contemplate a warm bowl of left-over New Year’s Eve chili for supper!
