Yes, I am addicted again this season, much to my family’s dismay. And I make my prediction here and now that David Archuleta will win. He is by far and away the best of the bunch. His performance Tuesday night of John Lennon’s “Imagine” gave me goosebumps!
This week’s performances were particularly lackluster. Other than David Archuleta, the only other two boys that were any good were David Hernandez and Michael Johns. The girls were even worse, if that was possible. The only performance of Wednesday night that I really cared for was Brooke White’s rendition of “You’re So Vain.” Of the rest of the girls, the memorable ones are Asia’h Epperson, Carly Smithson, Ramiele Malubay, and Syesha Mercado. The rest just blend in together and I have no clue which one is which. Ditto with the boys. Other than Chikezie and Danny Norriega, they might as well all have been tossed into a blender for as much as I can distinguish one from another.
