Busy With Projects

I have been busy this week with a lot of projects. I finally finished my Carnival Doily. It was almost done last weekend, but I had to set it aside for a few days, as all those treble crochets were hurting my wrist. Carnival Doily

I also crocheted a couple of dish cloths yesterday. One of my crochet groups is doing a dish cloth swap in February and I signed up. These were pretty easy to do, once I deciphered the pattern (which was a little vague in places). Each one took about one quarter of a play-off football game yesterday.

Crocheted Dish Cloths I bought a huge spool of cotton yarn, so I think I will just keep making different dish cloth patterns, keep a few and swap one with my crochet group.

My biggest project, though, has been my website. I have been making some design changes and working harder on getting keywords in place and other things to aid in getting more traffic. Most of the week was spent mapping out the changes I wanted to make. By Friday I had the first level of pages updated, all twelve of them, and already today I am seeing a positive return on time invested, in clicks on the ads at least. It will take a little more time to see whether the traffic increases or not, but I am encouraged so far! Enough to keep plugging away at it. Now to find some balance . . . as usual, I am immersing myself in the website updates to the detriment of other areas of my life, i.e. housework, paying attention to certain family members, remembering to get up off the computer chair and move a little! Balance, one thing I always have difficulties accomplishing.
