This week I have been consumed with cross stitching on Liana’s birthday blanket. This is the bottom right corner of the blanket and my progress as of Wednesday. I had forgotten how much fun counted cross stitch can be, how magical it is when a picture begins to appear out of a blank canvas. I had also forgotten how time consuming it can be; the above was after about 20 hours of work. It will be a minor miracle if I complete it by Liana’s birthday in April!
